Steel gears for Tamiya 1/16 Leopard 2 or Type-10 or Abram M1

This is the most important upgrade needed for those keen rc tankers to factor into the construction of the Tamiya 2a6 . It will save you a lot of heart ach down the track they will fail . A lot of money is spent on upgrades for this fine model and many neglect the mechanical fundamentals , if the gear box is sound than you will have reliability and peace of mind and really consider this if your using metal running gear . Just take note that the upgraded chain adjusters when tensioning the chains place tremendous strain on those plastic drive gears so that is for you to decide ? For me it is a no brainer to getting it right the first time and it's such a small investment for this known problem . It will happen sooner than you think and you will have to deal with later . For those that it has already happened , This is the solution , replace the plastic ones you will not be disappointed. Let's get the word out there for this fine product .

I bought them a few months ago , their main test was dortmund intermodelbau 2016 on the Rag IG Militarmodelbau they perform very goodno realy problems in the loose earth of the big ones driving ... was immens fun ... i mounted my second set in my other tamiya 2a6 fo tank now ... a must have those gears ... worth their money

This is a must have upgrade for the leopard. The stock plastic gears get worn out and the tank will jerk when making hard turns. This metal gear solves everything. Now my leopard turns smoothly.

Finali some one made a real steel gears for the seriously pathetic plastic gears that TAMIYA made. I mean Leopard 2a6 is their flag ship , and they put a crappy plastic parts ??!!! These gears are the ones that get a mother load of torque on them . I wanted to get them machined at a local shop .the machinist sayd bbout 200usd for small one/piece. About 500usd for a big one / and he was not ewer sure if he can make one. I know it is a lot of work/processes you have to make . So on the end of the day do not waste your time on original CRAPstic parts from tamiya . Buy this and dont worry about it. you can find a video about these gears on my youtube channel.
