The good parts for the Tamiya 2A6 to convert to 2A7

I have to say that my father and I were skeptical about these parts. Hey! they are 3D printed, and we've never had seen a 3d part that was hobby class. Anyway I really wanted to have a 2A7 and my Tamiya Leo was awaiting for that since several years. The parts arrived (overseas) very well packaged and flawless, non of them was broken. The parts are clean and just could need few touches to remove some extra plastic, by the way I think they are mad of white Polycarbonate which is a very hard plastic. The parts are very accurate, even small parts as handles are printed in just on piece. Absolutely prepared for the Tamiya, we had to make some minor adjustments, to be honest was more complicated to make a precise cut in the Tamiya plastic parts than to assembly the OKMO parts. Although OKMO don t provide instructions, the pictures in the website are good enough to build the conversion, anyway we use many reference pictures. Maybe the more complicated task was to place the optic fibers to make functional the head and marked lights, besides we use some clear lenses from a 1/12 car from the spare box as OKMO don t provide transparent parts for the headlight optics. We don t use primer for the OKMO parts, as painted with enamels. If you will paint with acrylics I recommend to use some primer. To build the 2A7 with the OKMO parts was funny, and easier than expected. In the beginning I thought the parts were expensive, finally the results made me to think that this is cheap having in account what you can do with these beautiful designed and printed parts. Well done OKMO, I hope to have the M60 on my workbench soon. Thanks
